Hero Xtreme 160R 4V

Hero MotoCorp has surprised enthusiasts once again with something truly exciting. After bringing advanced features like ride-by-wire and cruise control to the Xtreme 125R, the company has now given the same futuristic treatment to its bigger sibling—the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V. The newly unveiled Combat Edition not only looks bold and fresh, but also packs in technology that was earlier unheard of in this segment.

A More Advanced, Premium & Smart Xtreme 160R 4V

The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V Combat Edition is designed for riders who love sporty styling but also want cutting-edge features that make everyday riding easier and more exciting.
Hero has gone for a stunning grey and yellow paint theme, giving the bike a rugged, combat-inspired attitude that instantly stands out on the road. Along with this new look, Hero has also upgraded the bike with the same advanced electronics found on the Xtreme 125R.

With the addition of ride-by-wire, the motorcycle now supports cruise control—a rare and premium feature in 160cc bikes. This lets riders maintain a steady speed effortlessly on long highway stretches. Alongside this, the bike gets three riding modes: Rain, Road and Sport, allowing the rider to adapt the bike’s behaviour to traffic, weather or mood.

New Headlight, New Dash & A Sharper Identity

Hero has also replaced the previous reflector-based LED setup with the more modern LED projector headlamp borrowed from the Hero Xtreme 250R. This gives the motorcycle a sharper face along with Hero’s signature “H” shaped DRL, making it look much more premium and aggressive.

Inside the cockpit, the bike now features a new colour-LCD digital dash, also shared with the 250R. Not only does it look cleaner and more futuristic, but it also helps control various features including the riding modes and cruise control.

Expected Price & Launch Timeline

While Hero has listed all the new features on its official website, the price of the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V Combat Edition has not been revealed yet. Based on the Xtreme 125R’s pricing strategy—where the top variant costs around ₹12,000 more—Hero might follow a similar approach here too.
For reference, the current Hero Xtreme 160R 4V starts at ₹1.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The Combat Edition is expected to arrive soon, likely at a small premium.
